Design of a catafalque for Ferdinand I, ca. 1825.

Measured elevation of the monument, a truncated obelisk surmounted by a bust, an eagle, arms, and a mourning figure. The monument itself and a peristyle behind are in the Greek Doric order with unfluted shafts and an indented neck. The ornamental sculpture also includes Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and Christian iconography.
